A unique and lightweight Body Geometry bar damping system that dramatically improves road bike comfort. Tests show a reduction in hand pressure up to 50%.

Features:

50% reduction of pressure (4.5mm); 40% (2.5mm)

Clear, shock absorbing gel pads fit road bar top and drops

New gel pad design can be trimmed and reused for different bars

Adds minimal thickness to the tops of the bar only, not the entire diameter

Includes suede texture Roubaix tape (w/o gel backing) and bar plugs

Available in 2.5 or 4.5mm thickness

"I was replacing the same stock tape on my Rounaix Elite. Product is great, me fitting it not quite so. Having watched loads of how to's on YouTube it's still an art to install. I managed to snap the roll just under the brake but bodged it with electrical tape so be careful you don't want to pull too hard. Still a great product, only used the gel inserts for the top and would use / buy again when they next need replacing."

"I bought this for the gel pads alone, not the bar tape which doesn't seem anything special. I've previously bought the Fizik technogel pads which seem too hard and bulky to me, not enough vibration absorption. These Specialized pads come on the Roubaix models and are as soft and sticky as those 'throw at the window and it rolls down' toys. They are not too thick but the softest I've seen. I've had the Cinelli pads too and a mate has the softer of the Bike Ribbon ones, these Specialized pads are much softer if that's the feel you want."

"Hi András, there are only a few real cork bartapes, though this is faux cork, yet very comfortable and one that I ride with on my cross bike.
